Snice – 8th Avenue and Jane Street, West Village – I like this place. It is hip but without hipsters (for the most part). Drank decaffeinated tea this time, in the interest of sleep (did not want to screw over my future self, which I’ve been guilty of before, with coffee and also other type of beverages that affect one’s future mental state). Did more outline altering, as the big picture of part II that was in my head is not fleshing out nicely like part I when examined closer in. Instead of having a novelette with two parts I could have a wittle booklette with one part?
Everyman Espresso — 13th Street and 3rd Avenue, East Village – Hello all my non-readers! I did freelance here not book stuff, but wanted to note that like 15 years ago I had the idea of naming a coffee shop ‘counter culture’ and it would have a bunch of counters (brilliant!). I figured if I this thought, millions of other people must have too, because I am not very original. Yet I have never seen a coffee shop with that name, but today I saw a brand of coffee with the name. Not the same though because a bag of coffee does not have counters. Everyman Espresso has theater-y (theatre-y?) types hanging out there, perhaps because there is a theater in the back. I wrote about nothing!
